A magician performs a series of tricks where several symbolic objects intermingle in each act, between the distraction, the appearance and disappearance of these elements we hear a story that in his narrative tells us about a concrete fact happened on December 20, 2001 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In a stoic way, the story explains, through examples related to economic theories and real events, a series of economic movements, where money is revealed not as an economic instrument but as an essentially political reality.

The story is an adaptation of an interview with the pilot of the helicopter that took former president Fernando de la Rúa from the Casa Rosada, whose name is Claudio Zanlongo.

As the darkness redefines the visuality understood as that unknown, well, this could be the main element of most video games, a narrative where the dark has to be transformed into light to be able to move forward, these areas full of shadows become In the interface that seeks to simulate reality, on the other hand, returning to narrative and obscurity, the foreign presence that allows the 3rd person in video games using this format, allows to give the character, as if it were a dispossessed of thinking the possibility of being handled externally, at which point all ethics are distorted.

As a moral simulator, the idea of freedom is redefined through actions that allow us to unlock the player’s steps, thus, thinking about a place where action occurs allows us to abstract from reality itself.

​

This video is a representation of a typical scene of an action videogame, taking as scenery some areas of Kampala, capital of Uganda, this staging raises a question in the air and how we understand the reality, trying to imitate the unreal, in that order of ideas, is it possible to develop a world under those rules?

​

The tour of the car pretends to show different places related to dictatorial regimes through the history of Uganda, such as Kabaka’s Palace (Idi Amin chambers) or Uganda National Mosque, popularly known as Gaddafi Mosque among others.

The history of the others is a visual essay that involves a work of memory and imagination, through a story based on historical facts, 3 scenarios are recreated that tell this same event from three elements, objects, places and people.

​

The misnamed desert conquest in Argentine Patagonia perpetrated in the second half of the 19th century became the cornerstone of an expansionist political project, on the one hand it meant the annihilation of native communities and the establishment of a nation state in a vast territory . It was not a desert, nor was it a conquest.

Two workers walk the train tracks towards the Costa Rican Pacific, abandoned for more than 15 years, the disuse caused that nature slowly consumed the railway structures; suddenly the machetes of these two subjects begin to hit the metal rails following a particular rhythm, finally interpreting the famous jingle of Chiquita Banana.

The National Theatre Costa Rica contains inside a painting that became an iconic image within the Costa Rican imaginary, a banner of national identity and an important piece in the construction of the project of state/nation in the country, the video refers to the way in which the eurocentric and exoticism look distorted the Latin American reality, dislocating how to recognize ourselves autonomously. Taking as a starting point one of the most clear errors of the painting; a man holding a bunch of bananas in the wrong way, when to do this, both body and bunch show the ravages of physical effort, the body fatigue win over the man and the gravity causes the bunch of bananas gradually destroyed.
